Inspite of not being a good recantour,I remember few anecdotes about Sachin below
is one of them.
In was back in Mar 2008,India was touring australia,after defeating Australia and Srilanka
in the league matches(We did lose one against Australia)india cruised into the finals of
virtual world cup.Before departing for the first match an avid australian cricket fan
confronted Sachin,"Do you see yourself playing in the third final"(It was best of three
final series),and then came reply from Sachin who is famous for his witty repartee,
"Well please ask the same question to ricky because we might finish off the series in
first two matches it self".

He did stick to his promise playing match winning knocks in both the finals and defeating
Aussies in their Own den who tried every other way to stop Sachin from scoring his first
ODI century in Aus relentlessly but relented at the end.

There is a very famous quote by Adam 'Walker' Gilchrist which he quoted in his
biography after Sachin Tendulkar single handedly knocked out Aussies in Champion trophy match
between india And Aus in 2000,
Here goes the quote,
"It was another morning when Sachin would have thought,oh it's aussies again,let's
go out and have another century".
(Sachin scored match winning 143 and then took three wickets to tame Aussies single
handedly)
