More you travel across India more you will be amused with paradoxes you will come across.
Albeit the second most populous nation(1.13B) it is home to second largest work force in the world,40% of it's population is less than 25 years old so it is evident that there won't be any scarcity of workforce in India for the next 40 years on the other hand the work force In china
is aging out.GDP of India just cross the apogee of 1 Trillion making it 12'th walthiest nation in the world but 10% of Indian population Hold around 33% of total India wealth and quarter of Indian population still earns less than16 Rupees(0.4$) a day.2 out of 3 Indian still earn their bread and butter from Agriculture still agriculture sector constitutes around 28% of GDP.

We boast overselves as best IT destination,a destination to 1 million prolific
silver tonged elglish speaking software engineers but what about 10 million work force
which is accumulating every year?do we have job for each of them. The issue of unemployment
is still serene.Especially for the people coming from rural areas.

We are proud of Kalpana chawala as first indian woman to travel in the space but still in many parts of India widow travel with the beer of their dead husband as 'Sati'.
We have equally dynamic female population and in most of the state female population dominates the merit lists, has its palpable presence in the services sector. But at the same time
they are victim of dowry,a banned tradition which is still openly followed in many parts of country especially in the southers part of India.India registers around 7000 dowery deaths every year.Still in many parts female has given secondary status. Many families prefer to abort the child before it actually comes into existance just becasue they prefer son to daughter.
Probably India is the only country in the world where people prefer to be called as backwards just to avail the previllages given to backwards. The poputaion which is in actual need of it is still
denied with it.We often enquire about one's caste when we make new friends.
The IITs,IIMs and other presitigious oraganizations produce world class Engineers,MBAs but in the goverment schools 72% of the students drop out before they reach standard eight.
Bollywood produce around 800 movies a year but 2 million poulation of India cannot see it because it is blind .The figures augment 40000 new blind population every year.
Cricket players in india earns crores of rupees but at the same time hocky team finds it very
hard to find a sponsorer. In cricket and hockey we have won many accolades but we are still
searching for a one in a billion who can win us olympic gold.

is still haunted by corroptions where barefaced politicians embezzle money while procuring
coffins for the martyrs.
India is larget growing market for telecom and real estate sector, the record number of 8 million
moblies sold out this year, but it is also home to largest HIV infected population.
In all the second fastest growing economy is still not doing enough so that it can feed, educate
and provide proper mediaction to it's population.
It this the economy we are proud of just because we are sitting in the Ac cabins and doing white
coller jobs?
